• The safety of our students at Miami Springs Middle School is our first priority. Therefore, we have provided guidelines for daily arrival and dismissal of students. The student day runs from 9:00 a.m. – 3:50 p.m. Please support us by dropping of your child by 8:35 a.m. and picking him/her up promptly at 4:00 p.m. This allows us to give adequate supervision to students and close attention to safety concerns. Please be advised that there is no supervision after 4:30 p.m. or before 8:30 a.m. make sure that you review and discuss these procedures with your child.
  • Students being transported by private vehicles are to be dropped off and/or picked up on South Royal Poinciana Blvd. (main entrance of the school) only. The turn-around and drop-off lane will be available to drop-off and/pick up students. Parents cannot park their vehicles in the turn-around or drop-off lane.
  • Students transported by private bus transportation will be dropped off and picked up on East Drive, in front of the school’s patio area. Students must remain on the patio area until their bus has arrived and parked.
  • Students transported by Miami-Dade County Public Schools Transportation will be dropped off and picked up at the bus turn-around located on the physical education field on East Drive.
  • Once students are on school grounds, they are not permitted to leave the campus unless picked up by a parent; guardian or relative listed on the Emergency Contact Card. Students may not be signed out of class 30 minutes prior to dismissal. We appreciate you cooperation in this effort to keep our students safe.
